Let The Google Map Find You

googleGoogle Maps has just made locating yourself without GPS or the trouble of entering information possible. Now there’s an option to show you your current location with a click of the blue circle button – A new addition to the top left corner of the map, which is also more formally known as the My Location button.
The Geolocation API is a new feature available in the latest web browsers which allows any website to access your current location. Hence, this blue circle only works on Google Chrome, Firefox 3.5 or any other web browser with Gears installed.

Try it out now! All you need to do is click on the blue circle on Google Maps and let the magic begin.
