Too many profiles but too little time?
To attract new connections or readers, it is important to keep your profiles and content up to date. This is increasingly challenging as the number of social media sites escalates; some of which I have never heard before.
With a little help from technology and some basic organization skills, managing them can be less tedious.
1. List down all your existing Social Media Profiles
Most of us would probably have signed up for more than one Social Media profile. Recall them and key in your registered username and password on a word document, just in case you need them in the future.

You might want to add on to your army of profiles by first exploring knowem, a powerful tool, which reveals your username availability on the other social media platform. It is also important to book your username spot before someone else does. This will promote consistency in all your social media profiles.
Tip: Using a similar avatar will help netizens recall and recognize you across all social media.
2. Identify your favorite Social Media Profiles
There are a couple of Social Media profiles that we prefer. Identify them and stay focus. Regardless if it is for friendship or business, this will help you produce a more concerted effort in your campaign.
Because of its user-friendly interface, Twitter and Facebook are presently the favorites. Rather than diluting your time with other social media, it is wiser to focus on your preferred media. Spend more time connecting with your friends in Twitter and Facebook. It is the quality that matters, not the quantity.
3. Merge, Link and Post using Ping
A common activity is to send an update about your new blog post. To update ALL your profiles, you probably have to manually log in to every single one of them, which is extremely time consuming.
Ping makes it easy to update all your profiles. All you need to do is add the related media into your Ping network, organize your profiles and you’re good to go!

Besides group profiles update, Ping also allows you to update profile singly. This is particularly useful when you have certain content that caters more for a specific group.
Tips: Shareaholic is a pretty cool tool to update multiple profiles singly.
4. Cutting the Weeds
Even if you are a hardcore Twitter or Facebook fan, it is essential to log on to other profiles weekly to update your bio, reply messages and load fresh pictures and videos.
I’m sure you do not wish to end up in a sticky situation where you have to explain why your ex-girlfriend’s picture is still appearing in some of your random profiles.
