Twitter Is Down! Addicts Hang On!

Twitter is currently down and we don’t know why. Could it be due to the thousands of compromised accounts sending spam earlier today? Could it be a server overload (not likely to be the works of teens though)? Or is it time for the return of fail whale?

While the cause of this temporary down time is getting determined, we would like to ask those Twitter addicts to hang on. Twitter should be back pretty soon!

Update: It seems like Facebook and Livejournal are acting up too. Is the social media world going topsy-turvy?
