Facebook Search Now Real Time

button-facebookIt seems like the first Facebook-FriendFeed product is now out of the oven: As expected, a real time search within Facebook is now available to all users.

The new Facebook search works like FriendFeed and Twitter’s real time search. It gives you access to all its users’ status updates, links, and photos as long as they allow their personal content to be shared.

So what avenue will the new search feature open up for Facebook? Will a classification of trending topics be its next feature upgrade? There are probably plenty of questions running in your mind right now (ours too). But one thing is for sure, the future of Facebook looks extremely bright and it has certainly raised the bar for other similar social media sites.
