Google Shift Ads To The Left

google

Google has recently reinvented Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable” lyrics. Here it goes:

“To the left, To the left, Everything they paid are shifting to the left

On the left side that’s my stuff, And if I searched it please don’t touch”

Google has shifted its sponsored listing ads to the left, just in case you are looking for them but missed because they are so far right. The ads are now more noticeable and from now on, click through rate would probably increase as a result. A screen shot comparison below shows quite a difference!

In the Past

Now

I did feel a little uneasy at first but got used to it pretty quickly. Users would probably let this one go and continue with their search activities.

Hurray for the advertisers! Sponsored ads are ever so slowly inching into the organic search.
