CREATIVE Drink Driving Ads

drunk

Drink driving has been a constant problem in many countries. This urged advertisers to come up with creative ads that would get the message drilled into the audience’s mind. Few would disagree that these ads are creative, but are they really effective?

1. Volkswagen: One is Enough

Just like your accelerator, gear and steering wheel, one is enough if you want to drink.

2. Automobile Association of Singapore: Shattered Bottle

Not everyone gets to pick up the pieces. If you drink, don’t drive.

3. Parking Lot Guerrilla Ads

Parking lots are hard to get, but I’m sure no one is interested in this vacant lot.

Every 48 seconds, a drunk driver makes another person eligible to park here.

4. Lowe, Paris: Printed Coffee Table

Looking at a table top like this, I doubt anyone would be getting a second round of beer.

5. Absolut: Famous Anti Drink Driving Campaign

Too much Absolut leads to an absolute end

6. Road Cross: Alcohol Creates New Realities

Wouldn’t imagine what they are

Love it? More creative stuff here.

These ads serve two different functions at the same time: one is to emphasize the message that drinking and driving do not mix, and two creating relevant advertisements for a serious subject need not to be too serious to “drive” the message home. Please do keep posting creative ads here, Sarah. Thanks!
