Britney Spears and Ellen DeGeneres Hit 3 Million Followers

TwitterCongratulations @BritneySpears and @TheEllenShow for hitting the 3 million mark! The next one to hit the big 3 would probably be our favorite news network, @CNNbrk.

@aplusk was the first to hit the big 3 and is still the top twitterer with 3.4 million followers. However, his days as Twitter king might soon be over as the gap between him and the runner-ups narrows. Ellen has already declared her wish for 10 million followers.

Would another challenge be coming up?

Britney Spears

It was just 2 days ago when Britney played Twitter hide-and-seek with her fans gathering hundreds of people at Times Square, waiting to catch a glimpse of her. Earlier on, the star also added thousands of fans and got many folds of followers in return. She currently has an active Facebook Page, a YouTube channel and a MySpace profile.

Check out this (adorably) humorous video of her kids dancing.

Ellen DeGeneres

It all started with Ellen learning Twitter from Diddy. I mean she finally caught up with Emails so Twitter would naturally be the next thing to move on to. Since that day, Twitter has more or less become part of The Ellen Show as she rallied for more followers and tweets during the show.
