Get rich on the Internet today! Well, not for real but at least you are guaranteed a really great time playing one of the world’s most classic and addictive board game online. This collaboration between Google and board game maker, Hasbro saw the birth of Google Maps’ version of Monopoly.
Monopoly City Streets, which is launching today, is transforming this whole world into a game board!
Players will start with three million US dollars and are able to buy any street available in the world, all thanks to Google Maps. The intention is to involve as many as players as possible in this massive game. Players would be able to build not only hotels and houses but also malls, skyscrapers and anything in between.
The game will only be open in a couple of minutes but a competition is already launched for players to design their own Monopoly building.
Hope Google servers can withstand the millions of people who are willing to buy Fifth Avenue in New York, Champs-Élysées in Paris and Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur.
