Facebook Lite And Yahoo Meme Look Similar

Picture 1What an exciting day for the Facebook team!

Besides the introduction of a new @ tagging feature on its status updates, it has also officially launched the highly anticipated Facebook Lite.

Like how we understood it to be, Facebook Lite is a stripped down version of Facebook. It preserved only its core features, including status updates (duh!), access to profiles stalking and advertisements.

I was recently trying out Yahoo Meme and after accessing Facebook Lite, I thought they look pretty similar.

Facebook Lite

Yahoo Meme

A prominent similarity is that both have big buttons for posting text, pictures and videos. Did Yahoo “copy” Facebook or is it the other way round?

Maybe it is just pure coincidence after all.
