Logo Series + Happy 11th Birthday, Google!

11th_birthdayGoogle logo spotted an interesting double “l” today.

27 September 2009 is Google’s 11th birthday and its logo is altered (like always) to celebrate 11 years of Google brilliance.

Email, documents, maps, translations, collaboration, file management… the list of its awesome products goes on. We can’t thank Google enough for improving our quality of life.

Enough with the praises. We have compiled Google’s birthday logo series for your pleasure.

Hey, Willis. I really look forward seeing Google's header logos every time something commemorative comes up, such as birthdays of inventors and philosophers, holidays and other special dates to remember.

Even though the idea of sprucing up their original logo or start-up page requires not much of a great deal of work, Google's initiative of remembering special days not only informs but also encourages web browsers all over the world to do the same in their personal lives.

P.S. Though of the moment: we all have benefited from Thomas Alva Edison's light bulb but have we ever thought about changing our website's logo for a day — during Mr. Edison's birthday — just to honor him?
