Evidently, more retailers are moving their products to the online world. The web’s potential, unlimited exposure and low setup cost are all valid reasons for this change.
Your website works 24/7 for you but it has one big flaw. It doesn’t allow your customers to touch and feel your products.
Will the experience be lost?
No, if you know how to create the ultimate online shopping experience.
Product images is probably the key to achieving that.
But how many times have we cursed and swear at low quality, pixelated images on websites (including big brands’)?
Overall presentation plays a big part in making us feel good about the brand and product. High quality pictures will also provide us with closer to perfect information.
Talking about perfect product images and excellent website presentation, Apple is second to none.

Great Product Images Work
Awesome, aren’t they? Here are 5 things that I have learned from Apple’s product images.
From a consumer point of view:
1. Multiple angles: Allowing us to see the product in multiple angles reduces our doubts and gives us confidence when making a decision. Consumers are not very good with numbers and estimations, they won’t appreciate your comprehensive dimensions in text. Show them what those dimensions mean through realistic images.
2. Big, sharp and clear: How many times have we seen blurry pictures on a website? If you don’t bother to make your products look beautiful, who would? Respect your consumers and please don’t turn them off.
3. Clean Background: The focus should be on your product. Don’t let nasty backgrounds grab our attention instead. By far, white seems to be the best.
4. Photoshop it: If the picture is not taken perfectly, photoshop it. Take what it needs to bring the real product design online.
5. Consistent style: Apple always has that clean and sleek look that is reflected in its products. Have a consistent style while being creative.
