If you’re on Twitter, you probably would have heard of Jason Halpern, the man behind @shitmydadsays.
His bio goes “I’m 29. I live with my 73-year-old dad. He is awesome. I just write down shit that he says”
His Twitter page has been snowballing in numbers, with more than 700,000 followers following his hilarious tweets.
Apparently, success didn’t just stop there.
More From BBC:
“According to the Hollywood Reporter, Halpern will co-write the CBS project.
The trade paper also reports that Halpern will be a co-executive producer and that the creators of Will and Grace, David Kohan and Max Mutchnick, are on board to develop the comedy.
Halpern already has a book deal with Harper Collins – he will co-write the TV project and will also be a co-executive producer.”

Splendid, isn’t it? Twitter has the power to make ordinary people with unique ideas famous. One can hardly imagine what we could do on Twitter and what Twitter could do in return for us.
