google Google currently dominates search advertising and is also claiming slices of the pie in the lucrative mobile, smartphone and operating system industries.

Of course, there are companies that are competing head on with Google but what if none of them are able to stop the Google juggernaut?

In a bit more serious note, I keep saying to people that the internet is just going to become google. Not that it's hard to predict but they're so powerful and create quality products that we all use every day of our lives.

I said a while ago to some mates that I reckon google will start competing with the likes of Microsoft and Apple, and now they're releasing an operating system.

Watch out world – Google is still coming!

Do you think Google expansion into new territories beyond just being a search engine is going to weaken it's presence, or is Google just to l33t and is basically leveling the playing field?

expanding to areas like airplane or postal is a little far fetch and would definitely dilute its area of expertise and even brand equity.

But who knows if they monopolized the entire web, moving on to offline business may automatically be the next rational thing to do. But the chances are pretty low I guess. The web is still young in my opinion and there is still much more to be explored
