Top Five Flowcharts We Saw in 2009

Shevonne authors at ChicWriter.com and wrote this article on behalf of TopHost.Gr, a Greek web host that offers shared hosting.

where should u eatFlowcharts are what we usually use in the workplace to make quick and consistent decisions.

Sometimes we use them to decide on the little things in life, such as the appropriate time to use a smartphone, the religion to follow and tonight’s dinner venue.

The flowcharts might seem silly at first but when you take a closer look, they are logical and also funny.

Try going through them. It’s weekend anyway!

1. Holiday Flowchart: Inappropriate Times To Use Your Smartphone (Around Family)

This flowchart explains when you should put your phone down.  It breaks it down by phone call, texting, or some other app, and flows from those three scenarios.  What I like about the flowchart is that even though it’s suppose to be humorous, many of the flows are true.  Definitely one to bookmark and keep around during the holiday season to remind you to forget the phone and spend time with your family.

2. A Flowchart to Determine What Religion You Should Follow

There are so many religions out there that can sometimes lead to confusion. This flowchart makes fun of this and allows an easy way to pick the religion that is right for you. It features bacon, insane people, and black cats.

3. Where Should I Eat (The Fast Food Edition)

If you are a fast-food junkie, then this is the flowchart for you. It has flows going to the major fast-food chains in the United States and Canada. The decision points are very important ones, like how much money you have, if you have been drinking, your age, etc., which will help guide you to the best place to get your grub on.

4. How Apple Decides Whether or Not to Put an App on the App Store

In 2009, we saw the amount of controversy caused whenever Apple rejected an app to be sold in its App Store. The most shocking was the rejection of the Google Voice app. This flowchart pokes fun of that.

5. Bacon Flowchart

Bacon lovers rejoice! This flowchart goes through the process of choosing which bacon to eat, how to cook it, and the way to eat it. It’s simpler than the rest of the flowcharts, but it’s also the most intricate. Definitely a funny way of looking at the whole thought process involving bacon.
