Happy Chinese New Year!

ChineseNewYear-WhiteandRedGong Xi Fa Cai!

We would like to take this chance to wish all our readers a very prosperous Chinese New year!

To people who are not familiar with this festival, today marks the first day of the first month in the Chinese calender.

During the whole period of the festival, it is only normal to see people wearing red, children collecting ang baos (red packets with money in it) from married couples, families exchanging mandarin oranges and everyone celebrating with dragon dance, fire crackers, food goodies and songs.

Before we go collect ang baos, we will leave you with a medley of Chinese New Year songs sang by 4 very cute kids:
