Twestival as the name suggests is a Twitter originated event. So, it can’t be blamed that many have the misconception that Twestival is only for Twitter users.
Well, it’s not. Other social networks, such as Facebook, MySpace and Friendster users are definitely welcomed to join the event as well. In short, Twestival is a social good event where social media users get together to make things happen; for a social cause.
[For those who're still unfamiliar with Twestival, I have included a video below to help you understand the event a little better.]
Spreading The Word
It’s just a day more to go and we’re excited about this event. We hope more people could join this meaningful and fun night with us. No matter where you are and what time zone you’re in, Twestival is a day where we unite and celebrate a good cause through meeting up offline. So, I urge you to spread the word (through all forms of channels) to help make each and every Twestival event (175+ of them) a success.
…and below is how I help Twestival Singapore.

We don’t have many Twitter users in Singapore but we surely have a lot of Facebook users. 40% of our entire population are on Facebook and in absolute terms, we have about 1.9 million Facebook users. Wouldn’t it be great if we can spread the Twestival message through Facebook as well?
After all, a social good event is for everyone. There isn’t any rule involved. Share this post through the Facebook share button now (top left)
