iPad For Business & Marketing? [Review Video]

ipad keyboard_dockThe iPad is out today. For those who are still considering to get one, this PCMag review video below might help you make a more educated decision. I particularly like how unbiased this review is. It also includes a good overview on the iPad features, functions and applications.

On the lighter note, it has shown how photos and game apps work on the “overgrown” iTouch. And on a more serious note, the review includes simple demonstrations of the keynote, numbers and pages apps, and the iBook.

No doubt, with a huge screen, and WIFI and 3G capabilities, this machine could revolutionize how we consume digital information. What I’m really driving at is how this could alter the way marketers think to leverage on this device as a marketing tool.

Marketing through an application could be one way. However, with a larger screen, could it open up more opportunities?

Likewise, if e-readers like Kindle and iPad are able to reach to the masses, could promoting a business through e-books be possible? E-book marketing would become more efficient since there isn’t a need to worry over printing and distribution costs. All you need is a designer, an editor and great content to make your e-book a success. Well, I have yet to think about iPad’s future implications on marketing and businesses, and would love to hear from you.

But first, watch the video review below:
