The Green Side of Google [INFOGRAPHIC]

google greenIs your business going green? Google certainly is. This infographic by Intac shares interesting information on how Google, in a green way, has kept to its “Don’t be evil” mantra.

The idea is simple. Google uses cleaner sources of energy and recycles its old servers. The main aim is to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide released.

Some interesting facts include: (1) Google can harness enough clean energy through its solar panels to power 1,000 average homes. (2) A large group of employees uses Google’s shuttle bus, which is powered by biodiesel. This is equivalent to taking 600 cars off the road each year.

Nice infographic. Even someone like me who looks at green marketing with skepticism can appreciate what Google is trying to do. One nit: I don't know what “5 times less” means. It doesn't make sense.
