RWW has recently reported on Twitter’s intention to publish shopping deals through a dedicated Twitter handle. We’re unsure how exactly it works but this initiative is certainly part of Twitter’s big money-making plan.
Carolyn Penner, friendly communication contact at Twitter Inc., told RWW:
“There are interesting things in store for @earlybird. Keep waking up early and you might be the first to find out what they are.”
Evidently from its Promoted Tweets and Trends, Twitter has done extremely well so far – maximizing revenue with little disruption on user experience.
And we can expect this to be the same. Twitter users can choose whether to follow @EarlyBird for the latest shopping deals. It’s a choice that users can make compared to other advertising platforms, where ads appear on your screen whether you like it or not.
In short, it’s another good idea from Twitter and we highly anticipate how users would react to this @EarlyBird plan.
