Twitter & The World Cup [INFOGRAPHIC]

twitter world cupThe year’s World Cup has broken many records. It isn’t just Waka Waka, that has become the most watched soccer video on YouTube. Twitter, too, has something to show off.

In a gorgeous infographic, the micro-blogging site showcased how tweet volume fluctuates throughout this wildly crazed tournament.

The record tweet per second rate was at 3283 TPS and interestingly, it happened during a game between Denmark and Japan, where Japan won 3-1. This has highlighted Twitter’s dominance as the top social-networking site in Japan.
