Social Media Landscape In UK [VIDEO]

UK online proportionBrits love the web. A simple conclusion, given that 85% of the total UK population are on the Internet.

Social media is growing massively in UK and it is certainly a great channel for advertisers to reach the population. To add on, 1 out of 3 even declared that they “can’t live without the Internet”.

Blogs are pretty hot in the country too. 1 out of 3 engages in blogging and over 60% of the Internet population read them. 2 out of 3 people have their own profile on social networking sites, making online social networking the most popular past time in the UK.

More than 4 out of 5 enjoy watching web video, which provides an opportunity for small businesses to air their own “commercial” to reach thousands, if not, millions.
