Things To Know About StumbleUpon [INFOGRAPHIC]

social-bookmarkingSocial bookmarking is great as it allows users of the Internet to organize, store and search for resources online. The best thing I love about it is how I can access it wherever I go – which is so much better than adding links to ‘Favourites’ and saving it on the computer!

Since the launch of shortening service su.pr packed with cool features in March 2009, StumbleUpon has grown tremendously.  BlueGlass shares some interesting facts about StumbleUpon that you probably did not know about:

  • Stumbleupon ranks #2 in the world, just one spot behind Facebook
  • StumbleUpon

The next time when you are crafting your marketing strategy, why not think of how you could use StumbleUpon first before considering Facebook or Twitter?

StumbleUpon is a still under rated as a tools to get more Traffic. I am using ti on my blog and it has driven more traffic than Twitter & Facebook.

I had no idea StumbleUpon was so powerful. I guess there is so much press on Twitter and Facebook, and few people are talking about the real results of StumbleUpon. This is great to know.

    Hi Amelia
Being new to blogging I was wondering what this StumbleUpon was all about. I got stumbled last week and it took my traffic way past what I normally get :-)
Don't know who stumbled me but I thank them as it meant more people came across and read my blog. Cos I am in a small niche, didn't expect to get so many visitors so early. Not big numbers by big blog standards but for this newbie very encouraging.
Sounds like it will be worth my while to join. thanks for the post

    Heya Amelia,

Facebook, Twitter, YouTube often get mentioned early and often. Many I speak to – don't even know about SU.
Thanks to you – now I can use this in my posts (and I already did!) :-)

    Cheers, Jon

Stumbleupon never has any good content on it like it used to. It's all about Reddit these days. Plus SU is pretty much irrelevant since most people get all their links from their twitter and facebook feeds
