Today, we have heard direct from the luxury fashion e-commerce company that Smile Group Venture and Goldsquare Sales India (the owner of Fashionandyou.com) have raised US$40 million, led by Norwest Venture Partners and also participated in by Intel Capital, Sequoia Capital India, and Nokia Growth Partners. Back in January we wrote about how Tencent had launched a five billion yuan ($772 million) fund to invest in technology start-ups and companies focusing on games, mobile, media, and e-commerce.
