Adding to the long list of ‘Japan-is-weird’ gadgets, students at the Kajimoto Laboratory at the University of Electro-Communications have created a sort of internet tele-kissing machine. We’re not exactly sure how this whole idea got started, but we suspect it began with an innocent pencil-sharpener fetish. The device detects the movements one user’s tongue, and then replicates those movements to the user on the other end.
