The Chinese startup Xiaomi seems to have hit the big-time - it now has its own local clone. Or, rather, it appears to have a clone called Dami, but it’s likely just an online scam and should be avoided totally. Promo images for the supposed ‘Dami phone’ are floating around the Chinese web, and are actually using pictures and graphics stolen from Xiaomi. Facebook Scam! Woman Wired $4k Abroad

The negative social consequences of Facebook are getting increasingly apparent. Just recently, a woman was murdered as a result of Facebook jealousy. Today, we received news that a woman from Missouri got conned to wire about $4,000 to a "friend" in England. This woman received a help request message from her "friend" saying that she and husband got detained in London and needed the money to be released.
