China’s Twitter, Sina Weibo is gaining steam among Chinese users. The micro-blogging service has over 50 million users, including 500,000 users in Taiwan and 600,000 users in Hong Kong. Sina’s General Manager Meg Lee told Reuters that Sina Weibo aims to have 1 million users by the end of 2011. Indonesia’s Communications and Information Technology Minister Tifatul Sembiring has given BlackBerry maker Research in Motion (RIM) a 2 weeks deadline to block pornography content off the population, the AFP reported.
