That is what NeXTt Up Research found out. To be exact, it has estimated Twitter's valuation at the range of $526 million to $674 million. According to Michael Moe, the man leading the research team, "based his figures on revenue opportunities in regions, publicly available documents, press releases and articles, and other criteria." According to Reuters, Twitter currently has no plans to monetize its traffic with advertisements this year. Biz Stone claimed that Twitter is doing pretty good right now and is currently focused on features and paid commercial accounts for 2009. "Any kind of approach toward advertising is going to be awhile... We're not thinking about that just yet," Stone said at the 140: Twitter Conference in Los Angeles. Biz Stone remained tight-lipped when questioned about Twitter's valuation and venture funding. There isn't any confirmation to Twitter's ambitious $1 billion valuation thus far.
