Chinese streaming video website Ku6 (NASDAQ:KUTV) announced this morning that it will become a YouTube content partner, and distribute its videos on a new Ku6 YouTube channel. After the announcement, Ku6 shares, which had fallen below a dollar a month ago, enjoyed a bit of a resurgence today (see chart below). YouTube Officially Launches in Singapore

Thanks to the folks over at ZDNet for pointing out that YouTube has just launched a localized Singapore site (with a very sharp logo, see right), which can be accessed at YouTube.com.sg. It looks like YouTube Box Office is working pretty well for Google India. In a blogpost in its official blog, Google India today announced that it will start showing two full-length movies on its Boxoffice YouTube channel every month. Google has today officially announced the launch of YouTube Partner Program in India, after selectively rolling out to a few partners last December. This partner program was kick-started by YouTube in 2007.
